Questions We Get a Lot
Range depends on motor size, battery capacity, rider weight, terrain, and how much you use pedal assist versus throttle. Most quality e-bikes in this class are designed to handle real daily commutes or recreational rides without constant recharging. Check each model's listed specs for its rated range under typical riding conditions.
In most U.S. states, Class 1 and Class 2 e-bikes (pedal-assist and throttle up to 20 mph) do not require a license or registration and are treated similarly to conventional bicycles. Class 3 models (up to 28 mph) may have additional local requirements. We recommend checking your state and local regulations before your first ride.
E-bikes typically ship partially assembled and require the customer to complete final setup — commonly attaching handlebars, pedals, and the front wheel, then configuring the display and ensuring all connections are secure. Each model ships with the tools and documentation needed to complete assembly at home. If you prefer professional assembly, a local bike shop can typically assist.
We offer Free Shipping on Most Orders Within the Continental U.S. (Excludes AK/HI), and e-bikes are covered under our 30-Day Return Policy. If you need to initiate a return, please refer to our Return Policy page for full details on eligibility and the return process.
About Our E-Bikes
Electric bikes have redefined what it means to get around — closing the gap between the effort of traditional cycling and the convenience of motorized transport. They're built for commuters who want to arrive without breaking a sweat, for property owners covering distance across large lots, and for riders who simply want to go further with less resistance. A quality e-bike combines a reliable motor, a well-matched battery system, and a frame engineered to handle the additional demands of electric-assisted riding. When choosing one, consider how and where you'll primarily ride: urban commuting favors lightweight frames and integrated lighting, while trail or mixed-terrain use calls for more robust suspension and higher-torque motors. Battery range, charge time, and the quality of the braking system are equally important factors in long-term satisfaction. The right e-bike isn't the one with the most features — it's the one that fits the way you actually ride, built to hold up to consistent daily use over the long term.
